The Sensormatic IDX-4000 Multi-purpose RFID Reader builds on our first-generation IDX reader platform. It is an essential part of our Inventory Intelligence and Loss Prevention solutions. This device provides data to the TrueVUE platform to give retailers real-time visibility into RAIN RFID-tagged products. With this data, retailers can more effectively manage merchandise availability, improve operations, reduce shrink and create a memorable shopping experience. The four-port reader offers companyclass performance and dependability when reading and writing RFID tags. By doubling the reader’s processing speed and increasing RAM memory capacity, retailers can leverage solution data for better operational insights.¹ Dense reader mode ensures high reading rates, while advanced noise cancellation delivers reliable data capture that has been proven in retail deployments worldwide. The newly enhanced software, compliant to LLRP 1.1 protocol, transforms this device into an industry-leading solution with advanced state-of-the-art features. The IDX-4000 is the next-generation network connected reader with company device monitoring and management capabilities. It features Internet-of-Things (IoT) connectivity to enable hardware infrastructure and advance existing TrueVUE and cloud solutions
