Transition Door 360°

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)

Sensormatic Solutions' Transition Door further complements the investment made in RFID technology by offering retailers a simplified approach for updating EPC itemlevel stock records during replenishment events. This hands-free and automated solution helps to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy while maximising sales floor replenishment labour commitments between routine cycle counting activities. The Transition Door solution is ideal for any retailer seeking better visibility into what merchandise is on the sales floor, in the stockroom and in other zones of the store for a more efficient, unified commerce execution and a frictionless shopper experience. Our Transition Door solution has dedicated stand-alone functionality, utilising the latest MQTT communication protocols to communicate with TrueVUE Cloud. As RFIDtagged merchandise moves from stockroom to sales floor or between any two distinct zones within the store, the low-profile and discreet RFID antennas read tagged merchandise while updating stock records in real time, without any user intervention. Both hand-carried merchandise and goods carried by trolley can be read with a high degree of accuracy during these replenishment events. Full Transition Door A Full Transition Door is two Half Transition Doors covering both sides or ends of a doorway or transition. A Full Transition Door is ideal for doorways or transitions with two-way merchandise movement, such as the stockroom to the sales floor or the sales floor to the stockroom. As a leader in stock management, our Transition Door solution provides a seamless, cost-effective complement to traditional hand-held mobile workflows. This solution helps to optimise replenishment workflows during peak traffic power hours and is a critical component in simplifying merchandise movement between any two zones within the store. A Full Transition Door is recommended to accurately track merchandise as it transitions between two distinct zones within the store environment.
